Catching up!

Here's some updates on my recent activities:

I went with some friends to the Absolut IceBar in Tokyo. It's the only IceBar outside of Europe and they IMPORT, yes Import, their ice straight from Sweden! You can look it up at www.icebartokyo.com. They're actually closed later this month for new ice and remodeling! If you've never heard of it or seen it before, it's a bar made completely of ice! The bar, the glasses, the decor, the chairs, the tables...all of it! It was awesome!

On the way to the Absolut IceBar, I crossed through the "busiest crosswalk in the WORLD." It's a well known fact that there are a lot of people here and this crosswalk is insanity, it's an ALL-WAY crosswalk, left, right, diagonal, you name it and you can do it! Here's proof...

On Sept 24th, I was honored to experience a huge event here... the arrival of the George Washinton. It's the first nuclear-powered carrier to be forward-deployed and will be based off our coast. It was so cool to see it coming in with the Sailors all standing at attention on the deck in their dress whites. There were tons of helicoptors monitoring it's arrival and lots of boats, both escorting and protesting! Cool stuff to see!!!
